Manager, External Audit Generalist (Multiple Positions)

Manager, External Audit Generalist (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Los Angeles, CA. Provide clients business advice of technical accounting and financial reporting standards, proactively identifying and articulating emerging technical issues. Apply auditing standards and firm audit methodology, reinforce compliance requirements, and evaluate and respond to the results of audit procedures. Apply project management skills to maximize the effectiveness of the audit, managing and prioritizing issues based on materiality and risk. Develop project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for clients. Supervise and coach teams.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Salary: $109,346 - $109,346/yr.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Tax, or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.

In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Tax, or a related field, plus 3 years of related work experience.

Certification(s) required: U.S. CPA license or foreign equivalent.

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

• Applying Project Management Methodology, disciplining, scoping, planning, and overseeing complex engagements;
• Assessing engagement risks, driving conclusions, reviewing, and delivering projects;
• Applying applicable technical accounting and financial reporting standards supporting resolution of technical issues through effective analysis of accounting standards and issues; and
• Working with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States (U.S. GAAP), United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (U.S. GAAS) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards.  

80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.

Travel requirement(s): Domestic and/or international travel up to 60% is required.
