Financial Analyst

Lanka Rating Agency Limited (LRA) is a leading credit rating agency in Sri Lanka, licensed by the Securities & Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka. LRA has a technical affiliation agreement with Pakistan Credit Rating Agency (PACRA) and provides high quality credit rating services to our clients. The shareholders of LRA include PACRA, leading commercial banks and financial institutions in Sri Lanka and strategic investors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze quantitative and qualitative factors influencing the credit quality across diverse industries
• Develop and maintain analytical models
• Conduct meetings with the key management of clients
• Present recommendations to the external credit rating committee
• Prepare rating reports and press releases to communicate the rating rationale

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• A degree from a recognized university in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics or
• Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA and CA or CFA Charter holder
• Minimum one year of experience in the financial or securities markets
• Proven analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
• Fluent written and spoken English
• A strong team player with excellent inter-personal skills
• Demonstrate initiative and ability to manage and prioritize work and meet deadlines
