As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting in the financial operations of the company and ensuring accurate financial recording and reporting. This is a full-time position based in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities
- Worked on Tally ERP 9 and Tally prime
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Perform general bookkeeping duties, including recording financial transactions and maintaining ledgers
- Process and monitor invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of budgeting and forecasting
- Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Assist in the reconciliation of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assist with financial audits and participate in internal control evaluations
- Provide support in the analysis of financial data and preparation of financial reports
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure financial information is accurate and up to date
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations
