Oji Fibre Solutions AUS Pty Ltd, part of the rapidly expanding global Oji Group, specialises in the manufacturer of innovative fibre packaging solutions. Our Noble Park and OCCS plants based in Victoria, produce corrugated boxes which play an important part in the presentation, protection, and transportation of customer products in the Horticulture, Meat, Industrial, FMCG and Paper Products segments.

We are currently seeking a highly driven and experienced State Commercial Manager to join the State Leadership team based at Noble Park, VIC. This is a key Commercial position reporting directly to the Commercial Manager for Packaging Australia, and a key partner/enabler for the State Operations Manager. The successful incumbent will be expected to partner with the state Functional teams across the 2 corrugated plants to achieve the business strategy and plans. The position has two direct reports (Site Accountant and Purchasing/Payables Officer).

On a daily basis, you and your team will provide operational and strategic Commercial support to the managerial team; whilst also being responsible for the accounting related documentation and analysis of the Victorian business. To succeed in the role, you will need to understand the key drivers of the plants, identify and minimise potential financial risks, ensure the integrity of the financial reporting and delivering on key projects as part of the Victorian Leadership Team.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Degree qualification in commerce, accounting or business
• CA/CPA qualified
• Minimum 7-10 years accounting experience
• 4-5 years estimating and activity based costing experience
• Experience in a highly transactional and fast paced manufacturing/industrial environment
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills
• SAP R3 or S4/Hanna
• BPC/Hyperion desirable
