This hybrid role would be perfect for a junior Finance professional looking to progress in their career.

Your new company
A recruitment company specialising in the green energy and technology space who, after a sustained period of growth, are expanding their finance team. This hybrid role will be based at their lovely Waterloo offices which offer fantastic views across all of London. The company operates a hybrid work pattern and finish early on Fridays!

Your new role
You will be joining the finance team and reporting to the Finance Manager and Management Accountant. As a member of the Finance Team you will primarily be tasked with:

  • Raising invoices for both permanent and contract placements and allocating cash to the invoices.
  • Liaising with consultants to confirm sales invoices.
  • Daily/weekly chasing of overdue invoices.
  • Posting client cash receipts.

This role comes with the opportunity to progress into a management role as the demands on the finance team increase. While you are performing your role, you will be trained by the senior finance personnel in order to be ready for a future management position.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will need at least 12 months working in an Accounts Receivable role, ideally billing, and will have some experience of cash allocations. You will be comfortable using Excel, performing pivot tables and V-Lookups. The ideal candidate will have worked for a recruitment company or other professional services business and have a keen eye for detail. The team you will be joining are sociable, enjoying team lunches, quarterly events days and year-end parties, so the ideal candidate will be outgoing and enjoy socialising with colleagues.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a competitive base salary plus a 10% year-end bonus based on your own performance and the company's performance. The role is hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home and the company finish early on Fridays. This role also comes with the opportunity to progress to a management position in the future as the demands of the finance team increase.
