Support the development and evolution of operational risk reporting for the Group;

Maintenance and administrative support of the operational risk reporting system - MetricStream, including supporting system updates and changes

Support the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process and maintain reports of issues and actions; tracking actions to completion, and reporting on the information captured

Working flexibly and building constructive and supportive working relationships with teams across M&G plc and suppliers;

Keep abreast of industry trends, regulatory and business issues impacting self-certification.

Use of regulatory knowledge, business understanding and expert judgement, to quickly identify underlying issues and escalate issues, where appropriate.

Work with colleagues across locations within the Risk and Resilience function and the wider Business to ensure that M&G plc and its subsidiaries operate within an effective risk management framework

Contribute to the continuous improvement of methodology across Risk and work flexibly in support of the wider Risk agenda

Practical and theoretical knowledge of business risk and control frameworks and how these map to evolving regulatory requirements,

Good knowledge of Insurance and asset management products, systems and distribution methods would be desirable,

Good analytical skills in order to identify key themes, suggest solutions and deliver on opportunities

Good stakeholder management skills, with the ability to successfully navigate a complex organisation as well as build strong relationships and work collaboratively with teams across the business,

Ability to operate remotely, in a diverse and multi-cultural environment. International work or consultancy exposure would be a definite plus

Analytical and positive mind, good inter-personal and communication skills, ability to deal with people in different levels

Ability to quickly learn and assimilate key processes and procedures

Ability to analyse business requirements and regulations, highlighting key considerations or new requirements

Good interpersonal skills - involving liaison across the organisation with key personnel, influencing others to deliver to deadlines and guiding them on specific requirements;

Good presentation and report writing skills, including written and oral communication skills

Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

Ability to manage conflicting objectives and to work to pressured deadlines

Exposure in developing and implementing PowerBI reports and Dashboards would be desirable

Ability to make quick independent decisions based on logical thought processes

Good organisation and logistical skills

Experience in data analytics or risk analytics would be a definite plus
