My client is a dynamic NZ business that is going from strength to strength and continues to expand rapidly. The company has extremely strong foundations, is financially sound and has a loyal staff base. To keep up with the growth of the business they will be embarking on systems change. Initially, they are looking for a strong Systems Accountant - ideally with Workbench experience - to review their current processes.

The Role

This role will report directly to the CFO with other stakeholders across the business. Before embarking on their GL change, they want an experienced Systems Accountant to review their current state processes - specifically around Workbench.

• Documentation of current state processes
• Being the intermediary between Finance and IT to recommend and implement best practices.
• Ensuring data integrity into Workbench
• Developing and implementing new functionalities within Workbench
• Working with the CFO on recommendations for a GL change

Your Profile

To be considered for this role we are looking for someone who has strong background in Accountant and has used Workbench in previous roles. You will display the following attributes:

Proven work experience as a Systems Accountant with a strong proficiency in using Workbench

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
