The Finance Manager (Statutory Accounts) role is a new opportunity due to growth and is a great opportunity for an ambitious qualified accountant who is eager to gain some invaluable exposure. This role offers a competitive package depending on experience, our client offers a basic salary of £40,000 to £52,000 and a wealth of benefits including hybrid working, pension and a generous holiday entitlement.
Working in the organisations Edinburgh office you will be given the opportunity to progress your career in a supportive and progressive setting.

Your new role
In your new role, you will be responsible for the preparation of statutory accounts. You will also assist in consolidated accounts working to FRS 103 and IFRS.
You will also work alongside the Senior Finance Manager and Director in forward planning and annual audits. A small proportion of the role will be preparing management accounts, forecasting and budgets.
This is a very exciting and varied role which will include working with both financial, non-financial, internal and external stakeholders. The role will be based in the client's city centre office 2 days a week with great public transport networks, alongside flexible start and finish times.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate would be an ambitious and commercial finance professional with a strong end-end finance background within a fast-paced environment. Experience of producing statutory accounts would be essential.
You will possess strong analytical ability, commercial acumen and be capable of communicating effectively with non-financial stakeholders, providing meaningful insight to help educate decision-making.
A willingness to grow and learn within the organisation is an essential trait required.
