Your new company
Hays Accountancy and Finance are recruiting on behalf of their exclusive and retained client based in central Angus for a permanent Company Accountant to join their business. This opportunity is open to both full-time and part-time individuals and offers a salary of £35,000 - £45,000 + hybrid working, 30 days annual leave, competitive pension & private medical.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the owner of the business, you will be the stand-alone finance professional within the business with full responsibility in managing the finances for various companies within the group. You will complete management accounting & reporting, financial accounting and annual statutory accounts. You will complete the quarterly VAT return, bank reconciliation, transactional accounting, run a small payroll (training can be provided) and cash flow. You will also complete any other financial and administrative duties required.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Accountant who is comfortable working in a stand-alone position as the only finance professional onsite. You will be competent in both management & financial accounting alongside transactional bookkeeping. Experience within Sage & Excel is highly advantageous.
