About the Role
The role is part of the Finance and Administration team, located at the head office in Newmarket and reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be a pivotal member in the Finance team.
Responsibilities will include:
All aspects of debtors reconciliation
Credit Control in accordance with company policies and procedure
Cash reciting process and follow up payments.
Maintaining the integrity of the debtors records
Ensure sales credits are checked and processed
Assist with the reporting schedule for requirement such as weekly flash report, claim reports etc.
Month end reporting to deadlines.
Skills and Experience
Solid experience in transaction processing
Experience within an FMCG environment.
Previous experience in Accounts receivable and credit control.
Experience working in ERP system.
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail as well as competency across Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to, influence and negotiate with a diversity of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Proven ability to work as an effective member of a diverse team, as well as the ability to exercise independence, sound judgement and initiative by applying critical thinking and lateral problem-solving skills in overcoming obstacles within tight timeframes.
Numerate with the ability to understand data and to interpret it in a lateral manner.
