The Role Assistant Accountant
Reporting to the Group Managing Director, as the Assistant Accountant you will take an organised approach to day-to-day accounts administrative tasks ensuring timely and accurate bookkeeping, while taking the lead with project accounting.

The Role Assistant Accountant
Reporting to the Group Managing Director, as the Assistant Accountant you will take an organised approach to day-to-day accounts administrative tasks ensuring timely and accurate bookkeeping, while taking the lead with project accounting.
Specific duties will include, although not be limited to:
- Project accounting, including prepayments and accruals
- Income management invoicing, credits statement and reconciliations
- Expenditure management supplier, purchase orders, payments, petty cash, and bank
- Assisting with annual support agreements and contracts for clients
- Liaising with customers regarding contract renewals
- Dealing with any insurance claims, and renewals
- HR administration preparing onboarding process documentation, and supporting the external Accountant with payroll tasks
- Providing administrative support to the Chairman when required

The Package
As the Assistant Accountant, You'll benefit from:
- Salary up to £30,000, with the level dependent on experience and qualifications
- Permanent contract
- Working Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm from our offices in St. Asaph (North Wales), although flexibility is available if you prefer either an earlier or later start / finish time

Our Requirements Assistant Accountant
- Proven experience with bookkeeping, using Sage Line 50 or similar accounting software
- Ability to undertake project accounting, including prepayments and accruals
- Proactive and innovative approach to support business improvements and growth
- High level of numeracy and literacy
- IT literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Timely and accurate data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to tasks
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills, both written and verbal
